About Us
Three Cord Counseling, LLC is a counseling practice that was begun by three friends who have a deep concern for the mental health of the residents in and around the Shoals area. Several years ago, Ben Hayes, Cayron Mann, and Pam Lenz began discussing ways that they could better serve the people of the Shoals area with their various backgrounds and skills. At the beginning of 2023 they were able to make those dreams a reality in opening this practice in the heart of Muscle Shoals.
Ben Hayes has worked in ministry for over 25 years. Many of those years included work as a youth minister. In addition to ministry, he has been in private practice for 8 years and served as a part time counselor at Mars Hill Bible School during that time, spending his mornings doing chapel, character education in the classroom with kids ranging from Transitional Kindergarten to 6th Grade, and individual sessions when necessary.
Cayron Mann has been working in the counseling field for several years and is a certified EMDR therapist. Whether it's past trauma, anxiety, depression, or grief, Cayron enjoys helping teens and adults find a path of healing.
Pam Lenz is currently working as an Associate Licensed Counselor with Ben Hayes serving as her supervisor in that process. However, Pam has over 15 years of experience in the counseling field, as she has served as a school counselor for the Tuscumbia City School system, working with students Kindergarten through 12th grade. Pam has a heart for young people but works with all ages as well. She, along with Cayron and Ben enjoy serving each year as volunteers with kids and teenagers at Maywood Christian Camp.
